Grogarth (Beat 35) on the Westcountry angling passport is a gret place to get in the Fal.
This is no manicured chalkstream though.
It's a spatey, sandy bottomed river just above the tidal point with difficult access.
Wading is essential as the banks are 8ft high, but once in the trout fishing is great with good numbers of modest trout on the dry or nymph.
there are the occasional obstructions in the river, but thats half the fun.
